moto_z_play_leakedThe Moto Z Play is a smartphone that we have been hearing about for a while already. In fact not too long ago, photos of the alleged handset made their way online. Now thanks to newly leaked photos, we are getting another look at the upcoming phone, except that this time it is pictured in white.

In the photo which was originally posted on Reddit, it shows a Motorola phone in white that’s pretty much in line with all the previous leaks we’ve seen. In fact it also looks a lot like the other Moto Z handsets that the company has released so far, so in reality what’s different about the Moto Z Play would be under its hood.

From what we have heard, the Moto Z Play will be keeping the 5.5-inch display and a Full HD resolution. Under the hood, it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset along with 3GB of RAM, 64GB storage, a 16MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, a 3,510mAh battery, and will most likely be launched with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

There is still no word on when the phone will be announced, but Lenovo (who owns Motorola Mobility) did tease several product announcements for IFA 2016, one of which are Moto Mods meaning that we could be looking at other mobile-related announcements, like that of the Moto Z Play. Either way do check back with us during the event which kicks off next month for the details.
