skyrim remasterThinking of getting your hands on the remastered version of Skyrim? If you are, you’ll be pleased to learn that the game is currently available for pre-order for both the Xbox One and the PS4 consoles in which gamers can reserve their copy via the Xbox Store or the PlayStation Store for $60.

It should be noted that the game will only be released on the 28th of October, 2016, meaning that you’ll basically be buying the game ahead of the release, but you won’t actually be able to play it until then. For those shopping at the Xbox Store, you’ll notice that the game is said to have in-app purchases.

If you’re wondering what those are, you can rest assured that they are nothing. According to Bethesda’s Pete Hines, he told GameSpot that the remastered copy of Skyrim will come with all the DLCs released to date, meaning that gamers just need to purchase the game and they’ll be good to go as there are no additional purchases required, and that the in-app purchases listing was most likely a mistake.

That being said, chances are this is probably the last Elder Scrolls related content we will be seeing for a while. Bethesda did state that the Elder Scrolls VI will not be arriving anytime soon, and that remastered versions of Morrowind or Oblivion are pretty much a no-go, so this will have to make do for now.
