So we know that Ubisoft has plans to launch virtual reality games, and why not? With so many companies like Sony, Samsung, HTC, Valve, and Facebook getting in on the action, it would seem to suggest that VR games are the future, or at least it represents part of the future. So the question is, when will Ubisoft’s VR games be available?

The good news is that it won’t be too long. According to the company, they have announced that starting October 18, they will begin rolling out its VR games starting with Eagle Flight. This is an Oculus Rift title that as the name implies, will put players into the shoes (or talons?) of an eagle as they fly across various landmarks in Paris. It will eventually find its way to the PlayStation VR come November 8, and the HTC Vive on the 20th of December.

Following the release of Eagle Flight, the next VR title will be Star Trek: Bridge Crew in which players basically become the captain of a Federation Starfleet ship. That game will be launched across all VR platforms on the 29th of November. Last but not least is Werewolves Within, a VR game that reminds us of Mafia in which players sit around a campfire to deduce who amongst them is a werewolf. The game will be released on all VR platforms on the 6th of December.

In the meantime if you’re curious, you can check out the trailers for the various games in the videos above and below.
