Apple-iPad-Pro-apple-pencil-6So far we have heard many rumors regarding the upcoming iPhone’s hardware and features. For example 4K video recording at 60fps is a possibility, and we have also heard about how the phone could be water-resistant, sport a Force Touch-enabled home button, dual camera lenses, and so on.

However one possible feature could be support for the Apple Pencil. This is according to an interview that Tim Cook did with the folks at NDTV earlier this year as discovered by Daring Fireball’s John Gruber. According to the interview, Cook was quoted as saying, “If you’ve ever seen what can be created with that pencil on an iPad or an iPhone, it’s really unbelievable.”

Now it is obvious that Cook had misspoke during the interview as pointed out by Gruber, but whether or not what he said was plain wrong, or whether what he said might have accidentally given away a potential iPhone feature remains to be seen. It is also unclear if this feature could arrive in this year’s iPhone or whether or not it will be for a later iPhone, but either way with Apple officially unveiling the new iPhone tomorrow, we should find out the details relatively soon.

In the meantime what do you guys think of the iPhone supporting the Apple Pencil? Yay or nay on the potential feature?
