iphone-7-bottomWith the launch of the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, it looks like Apple for the most part has kept the same design as the previous iPhones. What this means is that it looks like your old case for your iPhone 6/6s could potentially work with the new iPhones, and we guess to a certain extent that might be true, except for the iPhone 7 Plus that has a dual camera setup.

So what about screen protectors? For those who believe in the usefulness of a screen protector, there is a bit of bad news because it seems that your old protector won’t work with your new iPhone. It has been noted that because of Apple updating the earpiece on the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, older screen protectors for the iPhone 6/6s and 6/6s Plus might not be compatible as it could end up covering part of the earpiece.

We suppose this will depend on the cut and design of the screen protector. We know that there are some screen protectors out there that only cover the portion of the display that users interact with, so we guess those will continue to work, but for users who opt for a full display screen protector, you guys will most likely have to wait for iPhone 7/7 Plus compatible protectors.
