As you might have heard, Apple has some pretty strict rules regarding what developers can or cannot do with the Touch Bar feature on the new MacBook Pros. The idea is that the Touch Bar is an extension of the keyboard, as opposed to acting as a secondary display, but it seems that regardless of Apple’s rules and guidelines, some pretty fun ideas have been cooked up.

One of those fun ideas included porting Doom onto the Touch Bar, and now thanks to Anthony Da Mota, it seems that you can now get Knight Rider’s KITT 2000’s glowing red animation on your MacBook Pro’s Touch Bar. It doesn’t really do anything other than provide animation, although we have to say that it is a pretty awesome idea.

The tweak can be downloaded from GitHub if you are interested in checking it out. So far Apple’s latest MacBook Pros are seeing quite a lot of demand. This is despite the fact that the laptops are pretty pricey and so far reviews of the Touch Bar have left many users feeling that the feature is more novel than functional at the moment.

So far there haven’t exactly been any apps that make the Touch Bar a killer feature to have, but we guess if you have one and you’re wondering what else to do with it, we guess this KITT 2000 animation would be pretty cool.
