So we have been hearing a lot of rumors that Apple has a ton of new products that they are planning on announcing in 2022. Some of those devices are expected to be announced in the early part of the year, with rumors suggesting that it could take place as soon as March. It looks like they were right.

According to a tweet by Greg Joswiak, Apple’s SVP of Marketing, he has confirmed that the company will be hosting an event on the 8th of March (next Tuesday) which he is calling “Peek Performance”. The Apple exec does not confirm what we can expect from the upcoming event, but here’s what we know so far.

One of devices that we expect will be announced will be the iPhone SE 5G. This will be a refresh of the previous gen model and while its design isn’t expected to change, one of the biggest changes is that it will include support for 5G, making it an affordable alternative to Apple’s flagship lineup for those who want an iPhone with 5G capabilities.

We’ve also heard that Apple could most likely announce a couple of Mac refreshes, like a redesigned MacBook Air, 13-inch MacBook Pro, and Mac mini, all of which haven’t been refreshed since 2020 and will most likely come with Apple’s new M2 chipset. There are other products that Apple is rumored to launch in 2022, like an iMac Pro and Mac Pro, but those are expected to take place towards the end of the year.
