Lenovo today announced the launch of the new ThinkPad 13 notebook which offers robust specifications at a very competitive price. The company says that this new notebook is a high value system that’s designed to appeal to individuals, business shops or students who are on a budget. Lenovo promises that despite the low starting price of this notebook it still offers the core ThinkPad experience that users have come to expect from Lenovo ThinkPad machines.

The new ThinkPad 13 features a 13.3 inch Full HD IPS Touch display, it’s powered by the latest Intel Core i processors with up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB of PCIe-NVMe M.2 storage. The notebook also features a precision touchpad, dTPM 2.0, and Microsoft Windows 10 Pro. A backlit keyboard is optional for those who want to pay extra for this feature.

Additional specifications of the new Lenovo ThinkPad 13 include a 3 cell 42Whr battery, integrated stereo speakers, SD Card reader, 3.5 combo audio jack, HDMI, USB Type-C charging, three USB 3.0 ports and more in a package that weighs around 3.17 lbs and comes in black and silver colors.

The Windows 10-powered version of the new Lenovo ThinkPad 13 will start at $699. Lenovo says that this notebook will be available for purchase across the globe starting January 2017.
