galaxy-s8-ghostekAt the moment no one really knows what the Samsung Galaxy S8 looks like. There have been rumors that suggests that it could be ditching the home button, and that it may or may not do away with the headphone jack. There are also rumors to suggest that it will only be offered in a curved-only variant.

However thanks to a recent report by BGR, casemaker Ghostek has uploaded a rendering off the Galaxy S8. Or to be more specific, the company has uploaded a rendering of one of their potential cases for the Galaxy S8, and inside the case is a rendering of the phone. We’re not sure what they are basing this on, whether it be their own imagination, rumors, or actual specifications, but it gives us a look at what could be the design of the phone.

From what we can tell, since parts of the phone is obscured by the case, the Galaxy S8 looks pretty much the same as the Galaxy S7 Edge. The side of the phone appear to be curved and while we can’t really make it out, there does not appear to be a home button. Also it seems like there is a lack of a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, indicating that maybe the sensor is built into the screen itself or Samsung could be relying purely on the iris-scanner.

The camera also seems to be of the single-lens variety which is in line with earlier rumors that indicated that Samsung will not be going the dual lens route. In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but we have recently heard that the phone could be released in the third week of April which means that we are probably looking at an early March announcement.
