There’s good news for those who own the HTC 10 on Sprint. The HTC 10 Nougat update Sprint release is underway today. The carrier is finally rolling out the much-awaited firmware update for this HTC flagship smartphone. HTC 10 owners have been waiting for it for a very long time on Sprint so they will be happy that the carrier is finally following through with this release.

The HTC 10 Nougat update Sprint release is now underway, weeks after the same update was released for the HTC 10 by T-Mobile in the United States as well as various carriers across Europe. There have now been several reports that confirm that Sprint has finally released Android 7.0 Nougat for the HTC 10.

As you would expect, it’s a hefty file, weighing in at just over 1.3GB. Those who are looking forward to downloading this update should keep in mind that they will need a robust internet connection to download it quickly. They should also have ample juice in the battery before going ahead with the installation process.

Since these updates are almost always rolled out in a staged manner it may take a few days for the update to go live for all users so even if someone doesn’t immediately get the over-the-air notification, they should rest assured because it will arrive in due time.
