Following Verizon’s decision to introduce an unlimited plan once again and T-Mobile upping its plan in response, Sprint has now decided to throw its hat in the ring as well. The carrier today announced an improved unlimited plan for its subscribers that’s quite similar to the ones Verizon and T-Mobile are offering. The carrier’s subscribers are surely going to appreciate this new move from the country’s fourth largest mobile network.

Subscribers will have to pay $65 per month for the first line. They can pay $60 for the same plan if they get on Sprint’s AutoPay system which promises them a $5 per month discount on the new unlimited plan.

Much like the plans Verizon and T-Mobile are offering, Sprint’s new plan includes unlimited HD video streaming as well as 10GB of mobile hotspot data. However, similar to the unlimited plans of the old days, subscribers have to adhere to a 22GB per month limit before the carrier starts throttling their speeds when the network is busy.

While Verizon and T-Mobile reduce subscribers to 3G speeds when they finish the 10GB mobile hotspot limit, Sprint is going to knock them down to 2G speeds which isn’t really useful in this day and age.

Subscribers can add a second line to their plan for $45 per month and then $35 per month for the third and fourth line, the AutoPay $5 discount is valid on this as well. Sprint is offering a promo until March 31st, 2018 where a single line with AutoPay will cost $50 per month, the second $40 after which the third, fourth and fifth lines will be free until the defined time period.
