Have you ever walked around and thought, “Wouldn’t it be nice if my hat could charge my phone at the same time?” If for whatever reason you have, then you might be interested in a baseball cap by SolSol which actually comes with solar panels built into the brim of the cap itself, which in turn actually lets you charge your mobile device.

Of course you might come off a little silly with a charging cable dangling from the side of your face, but alternatively you could take it off and put it on the table and charge your device at the same time. However since the cap does not pack a battery pack, this means that you can’t use the solar panels to store charges and use it for later, but rather it is meant for charging on the go and in the moment.

Like we said you might feel a little silly to have a cable hanging off your cap, but if you desperately need to charge your mobile device, this should do in a pinch. Speaking to Engadget at SXSW, the company revealed that its solar panels are capable of charging a device at 200mAh, which is pretty decent as far as solar-powered devices are concerned.

The SolSol baseball caps will come in a variety of colors and design and are priced at $56 each. If you are interested in getting your hands on them, then head on over to its website for the details.
