As far as the specs of Microsoft’s Xbox Scorpio is concerned, we don’t really have the full picture except that we know it will support 4K gaming. However the good news is that we won’t have to wait much longer as come 6th of April, the specs of the Xbox Scorpio is expected to be revealed.

This is according to a tweet in which the folks at Digital Foundry have confirmed that they will be exclusively revealing the specs this coming Thursday (6th of April) at 6 AM PT. If you recall, earlier this week it was reported that Microsoft had teamed up with a major gaming news outlet to reveal the specs, and Digital Foundry has pretty much confirmed that it is them.

While we know that the Xbox Scorpio has been in the works for a while, specs of the console have remained something of a mystery. We have heard rumors that the console will run at 6 teraflops, which is surpassing that of the Xbox One’s 1.3 TF and the PS4 Pro’s 4.2 TF. So far industry insiders have expressed that they are impressed by the console, but we suppose that remains to be seen.

The console is expected to be revealed in full at E3 2017 and with a release pegged for later this year, but remember to check back with us this coming Thursday if you’d like all the official details regarding its specs.
