Microsoft has updated the “Leaving Soon” section of the Xbox Game Pass mobile application, confirming that eight more titles will be removed from the service on July 31.
This update comes shortly after Microsoft announced the latest additions to its platform, concluding a month marked by significant changes to the gaming library.
The upcoming departure follows the removal of 11 games on July 15, bringing the total number of titles exiting the catalog during July to 19. According to reports originally published by Pure Xbox, subscribers across Xbox consoles, PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming will have until the end of the month to complete their playthroughs or purchase the departing titles.

- Whiskerwood (PC only)
Purchasing Discounts and Catalog Rotation
To assist players who wish to retain permanent access, Microsoft offers subscribers a discount of up to 20% on all departing titles prior to their official removal. Purchasing a game ensures continued access via the Microsoft Store even after it leaves the subscription tier.
Microsoft typically updates the Xbox Game Pass library twice a month through a scheduled rotation that adds new releases while removing older content. While this rotational model ensures a steady flow of fresh experiences, it limits the time users have to complete specific titles.
Despite the recent wave of departures, the service continues to add new content, with high-profile releases scheduled to join the platform before the month concludes, including Halo: Campaign Evolved on July 28.
