As fun and convenient it is to game on a desktop PC, sometimes we are required to travel, or our living situations don’t really have enough space for a desktop PC, which is where gaming laptops come in handy. There are many gaming laptops out there today and if you’re in the market for a new laptop, Acer might have something for you.

Acer has recently taken the wraps off its latest gaming laptop in the form of the Acer Nitro 5 Spin 2-in-1. As the name suggests, this is a hybrid laptop in which thanks to its hinges, will allow users to flip the screen around where it can sort of double up as a tablet or a display, depending on what you need it for.

The best part is that under the hood, the Nitro 5 Spin is packing some serious hardware which will allow gamers to play games on the go. The specs we are looking at includes a 15.6-inch Full HD display, the use of an Intel 8th gen Core processor, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 GPU, and support for up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage.

It probably isn’t the most powerful gaming laptop we’ve seen out there, but given its specs and its asking price of $1,000, it isn’t outrageously expensive compared to some of the competition, which should make it a tad more accessible for those who want a gaming laptop but don’t want to spend thousands.
