There are a few companies out there who have apps that are dedicated for business communications, such as Slack. Clearly Google sees a huge potential in the enterprise market which is why you might recall that the company was looking to transition its Hangouts platform into one designed more for business use.

In fact earlier this year, Google announced Hangouts Meet which is a video conferencing platform for users. Now clearly with video conferencing, you will need video hardware and of course what you use is entirely up to you, but it seems that Google has some suggestions that could help enhance the experience and have since launched Hangouts Meet hardware.

This includes several pieces of hardware such as a touchscreen controller, speakermic, a 4K sensor camera, and an ASUS Chromebox. According to Google, the controller lets users join scheduled meetings with a single tap, mute team members, and control the camera. The speakermic is also said to help eliminate echo and background noise, while the 4K camera will offer up a 120-degree field of view that will allow more users to fit into the frame.

Like we said, you can use any hardware you like, but Google believes that this combination of hardware will help take your video conferencing to the next level. However if you think that all of this will help, the entire kit will be priced at $1,999 and will be available for purchase in select markets starting today.
