[CES 2018] If you’re shopping about for a new laptop Lenovo has you covered. At CES 2018, the company has taken the wraps off its latest ThinkPad laptop in the form of the Lenovo ThinkPad T580. This is a laptop that’s decently specced and decently priced, so if you’re not after anything particularly fancy, it should be more than capable of getting the job done.

In terms of processor, the ThinkPad T580 will support Intel 8th-gen Core i7 processors with vPro. It will also support as much as 32GB of 2400MHz DDR4 RAM, up to 2TB of HDD storage or if you’re after something a bit faster, 1TB of PCIe SSD storage. The laptop will also come with an Intel HD Graphics 620 integrated GPU, but if you want a bit more power then you can always opt to configure it to an NVIDIA GeForce MX150 with 2GB of DDR5 VRAM.

The ThinkPad T580 will also come decked out with Dolby Audio Premium technology, and according to Lenovo, it will also boast a battery life of up to 27 hours, thanks to support for dual batteries. The laptop will also sport a 15-inch FHD IPS display, but users can configure it to sport a FHD IPS touchscreen display, or go even higher with an UHD IPS display.

As for pricing, like we said it’s not too badly priced. It will start at $1,079 and will go up depending on how you configure it. It will also be made available in January, 2018.
