A couple of weeks ago, Lenovo teased what appeared to be a phone with a full screen display. While we’re seeing phone makers push the boundaries of how far the screen can stretch, there is still a bit of bezel that can’t be avoided, but this particular phone, the Lenovo Z5, seems to have solved that problem.

The good news is that if you liked what you saw, you’ll be pleased to learn that this isn’t some concept handset and that Lenovo will be making it a reality. The company’s VP recently posted on Weibo that Lenovo will be officially announcing the Lenovo Z5 on the 5th of June where it will be taking place in China.

There is a bit of hype building up around this phone, such as with its camera where it is rumored to feature dual “smart” cameras that use AI that could help with your photography. There are also claims that the Lenovo Z5 will feature a standby time of 45 days on a single charge, although admittedly we’re more interested in how many days of usage we can get out of it.

In any case all is expected to be revealed next week, so be sure to check back with us then for the details, and hopefully what we’ve seen in the sketches will be reflected in the actual handset.
