It might be a bit early to start talking about the Samsung Galaxy S10, but it has not stopped the rumors from rolling out. According to the latest report from The Investor, it seems that Samsung could be joining the triple lens camera club in 2019 with the Galaxy S10 (or whatever the company plans on calling it).

As it stands the Huawei P20 is the only smartphone that features a triple lens camera. However we have heard rumors that Apple could follow suit in 2019, although with Samsung’s Galaxy S phones typically being announced earlier, Samsung could very well beat them to the punch. This is according to Kim Dong-won, an analyst from KB Securities who made the prediction.

According to Kim, “Samsung, which has a lower-than-expected demand for its latest Galaxy S9 lineup, will consider to equip its next premium phone with the triple cameras and a 3-D sensor to reinvigorate its smartphone business.” This sounds similar to what Apple had planned for their camera as well, where the third lens is said to help with 3D sensing and presumably augmented reality as well.

In any case like we said, it might be too early to start predicting what Samsung will do for the Galaxy S10, so take it with a grain of salt for now.
