OnePlus 6 Update Will Improve Its Call Quality

Our phones have definitely evolved to do many things, such as take photos, play music, surf the web, play games, used for augmented and virtual reality, but at the end of the day, it is still a phone which means that it needs to make phone calls, otherwise it wouldn’t really be appropriate to call it a phone, right?

This is why call quality is important, although sometimes it is also a feature that can be overlooked. The good news for OnePlus 6 users is that if you’ve found the phone’s call quality to be a bit lackluster, you’ll be pleased to learn that the company has recently issued an update that will bump OxygenOS up to version 5.1.8, where one of the “fixes” is towards improving the call quality.

In addition, the update is also expected to fix various system stability issues (which OnePlus does not mention in detail), along with improved network stability and general bug fixes. As OnePlus notes, this update is being pushed out in incremental stages which means that if you don’t see it yet, not to worry as it should eventually find its way to you as OnePlus claims that a broader rollout should be in the next few days.
