China Bans YouTube Again

China has once again banned video sharing site YouTube after the popular site hosted videos of protests in Tibet, inclusive of riots in the Tibetan capital of Llasa. Apparently, YouTube hosted videos of Chinese soldiers beating Tibetans, including hapless monks. Unfortunately monks these days don’t seem to be made up of sterner stuff of yore as we’ve seen in many a kung-fu movie. So far a Chinese government spokesperson has yet to confirm or deny whether YouTube has been blocked, but independent sources point towards the latter.
