Olympus PEN E-PL1 – Video Overview

[PMA 2010] The Olympus PEN E-PL1 was released earlier this month and was on display at PMA. Olympus designed this Micro Four Thirds interchangeable lens camera to offer DSLR quality and an easy interface in a compact body. With consumers in mind, Olympus targets the audience that wants image quality, HD video recording with the ease of use of a point-and-shoot. Becky from Olympus showed me a demo of the user friendly interface and I got in on video (see above). For $599, the EPL-1 comes with the 14-42 mm f3.5/5.6 zoom lens, and boasts a 2.7-inch LCD, a High Speed MOS Sensor, a built-in flash, ISO up to 3200, HD video recording 720p @30 fps, continuous AF and AF tracking, HDMI output. Check the full specifications and the features on the product page; browse the picture gallery below to get a better fell of this cool and elegant device ( I love the silver version!).
