Altec Lansing Octiv Mini iPod alarm clock

Just how many iPod/iPhone alarm clocks do you think that ought to hit the market before every manufacturer gives up and says, “Enough is enough!”? Apparently, that day is still a long, long way off, as Altec Lansing have themselves rolled out the Octiv Mini iPod/iPhone alarm clock that comes in a rather odd angular design. Retailing for $59.95 a pop, this one will ship with the Alarm Rock app that enables you to customize your wake-up tune to one which suits your ears without jolting you out of bed unlike a traditional alarm clock. Shipping later this July, it measures around 4″ wide and 5″ deep, requiring very little room to have it be a permanent fixture in your bedroom.
