Sharp has thinnest multi-screen display system in the world

Sharp managed to come up with what is deemed to be the thinnest multi-screen display system in the world, offering a System Frame Width of a mere 6.5mm. This particular model was built around the new PN-V601 60″ professional LCD monitor that relies on Sharp’s proprietary LCD technology which will significantly reduce the width of the monitor’s bezel. At a mere 6.5mm of space between neighboring displays, it seems as though the seams where individual LCD monitors are unobtrusive, making it a practical solution for those who want to show off video wall displays in sharper and clearer images. Boasting a full-array LED backlight, this new display system will hit the Japanese market in August this year – with no word on whether it will arrive anywhere outside of Japan in the near future or not.
