EKING has interesting mobile computer

EKING of China might not be too famous in the hardware circles just yet, but take a look at their latest thingamajic and you’ll certainly sit up and pay attention. What looks like a new and improved Sidekick smartphone is actually a mobile device which sports a 5″ touchscreen display at 1024 x 600 resolution, where sliding the display will reveal a QWERTY keyboard. It won’t run on Android or Windows Phone 7, but will instead rely on Windows 7 as its operating system of choice. Other specifications are Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, GPS navigation and 3G support. No idea on when it will hit the China market nor how much of a dent will it make in your wallet, but we do hope to see the FCC approve this.
