Evri Content Discovery Launches EvriThing on iPhone and Android

[Mobilize 2010] Evri, the real-time content discovery engine is launching five new vertical content aggregation applications on iPhone and Android. Powered by Evri’s semantic technology, the “EvriThing” applications offers real-time news on users favorite topics, and allows them to view and share videos, photos, articles, tweets, scores . Another content filtering and aggregation mobile application is My6Sense, with its semantic engine, it learns the behavior and tastes of the user to deliver the most relevant content. I am not sure if Evri works the same way, I will probably ask Adrian Klein, Evri VP, Product, at Mobilize 2010, where he speaks at 12.15 pm PT. Hopefully, I will see a demo as well.

The five new apps are:

The content, captured from thousands of sources across the web, is presented from different angles including: a photo view, a Twitter view, and an EvriThing view, where all of the content is aggregated in a multimedia stream that includes articles, photos, videos and tweets. Sports apps also deliver real-time stats, including standings, scores and individual player stats.

The applications are available today from the Android Market and will be available shortly on the iTunes App Store. Evri plans to ship additional applications in new topic areas on a regular basis. For more information, visit http://apps.evri.com.
