The TS3 Cine isn’t too hefty since it measures 227mm x 113mm x 88 mm and tips the scales at 3.96 pounds. Sporting a rather generous 7″ LCD display with on-screen menus located to the rear, the TS3 Cine can also opt to be operated remotely via Gigabit Ethernet thanks to a standard web browser on either a PC or Mac for added flexibility. With up to 256GB of internal storage thanks to a SSD, it will deliver long-haul shooting capabilities with plenty of space before you need to offload captured content to computer.
The camera is also capable of delivering 500 fps at the maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels, while hitting the aforementioned 20,000 fps at the lowest resolution of 160 x 86 pixels. Touted to deliver up to three hours of battery life on a full charge, other hardware options include HMDI-out, USB 2.0 and media card connectivity, and the ability for images to be recorded as BMP, TIFF, Cinema DNG (RAW), or JPG and video as AVI.
The price to pay? A heart-attack inducing $29,900 with 128GB SSD.
