VoIP service provider Ooma seems to have experienced a nationwide outage throughout the day, where some folks have reported on sporadic downtimes, while others have been unable to access the service for the longest time already instead of in bursts. Good thing the company does know that something is wrong with the service and are already hard at work to restore Ooma to full working condition, pronto!
There has been periodic updates concerning issues that arise from the service which have been posted to a Twitter account which was set up specifically to “talk” anything and everything about Ooma’s network status. There was this recent tweet that mentioned that network connectivity “has been restored and affected boxes should be coming back online.”
The restored service will work without requiring any form of input from the user – so those who have been affected and are staring at their box for signs of life should look out for a blue light, which means you’re good to go.
