AMD Radeon Memory should be an easy choice

Yes you read that right, AMD Radeon is now a memory brand as well… When it comes to PC memory, things usually come down to reading the specs of your motherboard and head to an online retailer, except in two cases: first, when you want to absolute best performance via overclocking. This is tricky because not all memory module will withstand being run to the limit of today’s silicon. Secondly, when you don’t want to spend any time at all checking the specs.

For those two extreme types of users, AMD has introduced their own brand of DRAM. While it’s not clear if AMD actually produces the modules, they clearly put their stamp of approval on them. This means that AMD tests the modules and certify that they will work well with the AMD systems that they are designed for. On the high-end, the memory modules are carefully selected in a process called “binning”, and only the highest quality modules will pass all the tests.
