The WeBike lets you exercise while you work

We’re sure that most of you guys can agree that sitting down in one spot for too long, especially in front of the computer, is not good for health. There have been several efforts to change that by introducing seats/desks at work that actually allows workers to exercise while in the office. Adding to that list is the WeBike, a trio of workstations integrated together with three seats, each featuring a pedal that will be capable of producing thirty watts. Not only will this be good for health, it’s apparently good for the environment as well!

We-Watt, the creators behind the WeBike, has revealed that whole setup is made from waste leather (used for the seats) and waste cedar (used for the body and the table). The WeBike even includes a LED ring in the center of the table that tells its users how much electricity they’re generating that they can use to charge devices like smartphones, tablets and maybe even laptops. We’re not sure how widespread the adoption of the WeBike will be, but it certainly is a good idea and is pretty nicely designed as well. If you’re interested in outfitting your office with the WeBike, expect to pay $13,154 for each WeBike.
