CyanogenMod 10 preliminary build now available for the Galaxy Nexus
If you own the Galaxy Nexus and while Google’s stock version of Android might seem like a good thing, but you were hoping for more functionality and such, then the CyanogenMod might be a ROM you have considered. The good news is that thanks to a developer, a preliminary build of CyanogenMod 10, which is based off Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, is now available for download. According to its developer, he has been using the ROM as his daily driver for the past couple of weeks which we’re assuming means that it is somewhat stable, although there might be some limitations as to what it can do. It should also be noted that since this is an AOSP build, default Google apps are not included. However the fact that it is a preliminary build should already indicate that there might be some bugs in the ROM that you’ll probably want to keep an eye out for, so proceed at your own risk if you want to download it!
