Asus VivoTab RT and VivoTab Smart Hands-On!

Let’s take a look at the VivoTab RT, which is a Surface competitor: The VivoTab RT runs Windows 8 RT (obviously) and it packs a Tegra 3 processor, 32GB of storage, and an adaptor to work with USB devices. It features a 10-inch touchscreen running at 1280-by-800 resolution. It starts at $599, which is $100 more than Microsoft’s Surface, but the VivoTab is thinner and lighter and has the keyboard dock come standard. It also has full drawing tablet functionality with a Wacom stylus. There’s a Vivotab with a 11-inch screen and Atom processor, called the VivoTab Smart, that will run a full edition of Windows 8, and that starts at $799.
