Asus Padfone Infinity Prepped For MWC Announcement

[MWC 2013] Asus is not exactly a pioneer when it comes to the world of smartphones, phablets and tablets, but they are trying to carve a name out for themselves for sure. Having said that, their recent Asus Taichi hybrid device is a surefire looker, but when it comes to practical purposes, the idea does not work all too well. It seems that Asus is working on a new version on the Padfone that is set to be revealed at MWC, with Asus’ booth showing off some key specifications of a particular device known as the Asus Padfone Infinity.

It is said that the Asus Padfone Infinity will come with a 5-inch, 1080p display that ought to be able to jostle with the higher end models out there at the moment, in addition to LTE connectivity, all coming in a sleek aluminum body that has a brushed metal finish which would surely come in handy to prevent nasty fingerprint marks all over the place. The Padfone Infinity will be able to dock within a 10.1-inch, 1080p tablet, now how about that, with a 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor to boot. Exciting times are ahead.
