Wikipad 7-Inch Gaming Tablet Available On June 11 For $249

Wikipad - The Tablet Designed For Extreme Gamers

With the 7-inch Wikipad making its way through the FCC, it was only a matter of time until its pricing and availability were announced. Today, Wikipad is announcing its 7-inch Android gaming tablet will be made available in the U.S. and U.K. on June 11 for $249.

The Wikipad 7 won’t be the most advanced Android device when it’s released on June 11 when compared to current-generation Android devices, but it still has some nice specs that will allow gamers to keep up with some of the latest Android games. The Wikipad 7 features a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800, an NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, HDMI-out, and a 2MP front-facing camera all running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

The main selling point for the Wikipad 7 is its detachable controller which features dual-analog sticks, a plethora of buttons and a D-Pad to help you enjoy your game without having to rely on touchscreen controls. The controller being detachable also helps in making the tablet a little more portable as it’ll probably be easier to carry both pieces by themselves rather than throwing the entire thing into your bag when you’re traveling.
