We recently saw a USB key from LaCie and Porsche that brought quite the sleek design to the traditional USB flash drive. But if you’re someone who wants to carry around as little as possible, then the world’s smallest USB 3.0 flash drive just might be what you’ve been looking for.

PKparis’s is claiming its latest K1 is the world’s smallest USB 3.0 flash drive, and after looking at it, we certainly can’t argue that claim as it only measures in at 0.07 inches, or 1.77mm. The K1 is made of aluminum and is available in either 32GB or 64GB capacities and retails for $48 and $89, respectively. The K1 offers read and write speeds of up to 140MB/s, which you can see when the drive is being accessed through its small LED activity light. Of course, to take full advantage of the K1, you should make sure your computer is equipped with a USB 3.0 port.

Considering how small the K1 is, we think it’s safe to say you shouldn’t disconnect it from your computer too often as we can see people easily misplacing it. A 0.07 inch USB drive is an extremely light accessory, but it can also be something that can be easily forgotten.
