LG G3 Mini Pictures Appear Online

LG unveiled the G3 back in May and the device went on sale in the U.S. this month. It wouldn’t surprise anyone if there was a “mini” variant of the G3 since that’s what most manufacturers do these days after their flagship models hit the market. Since LG released a mini variant for the G2 it seems almost certain that history will repeat itself this time around as well. Several pictures of the LG G3 Mini have appeared online giving us our first glimpse of the toned down LG flagship.

These pictures first appeared on the Chinese Tenaa certification website. Its like the FCC for China. The government certification agency posted the photos online and also revealed the device’s measurements which come in at 137.75 x 69.60 x 9.99 mm.

As expected the design is very similar to that of the G3 but since its expected to be a relatively cheaper version one can expect that the Quad HD display will be swapped out in favor of a full HD panel. It may not even have the same processor and RAM. Details about specifications are not available as yet but we’re probably going to hear about the specifications as rumors about the G3 mini heat up.

LG is going to release the G3 mini in several markets around the globe, including the U.S., where AT&T is believed to sell it. AT&T’s LG G3 variant was recently spotted at the FCC, so it may only be a matter of time before an official announcement comes through.
