Acer claims that the Liquid Z500 will come with a “CD quality” music experience, so those of you who love to listen to your favorite tunes in high quality format might want to consider getting that headphones upgrade after mulling over it for some time. By “CD quality”, Acer is referring to support for 16-bit, 44KHz FLAC and WAV playback, where HD stereo speakers with DTS Studio Sound are also part of the deal.
Other hardware specifications of the Acer Liquid Z500 include a 5” IPS display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution and high contrast (900:1) ratio. At the back lies an 8MP autofocus camera with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. The entire Liquid Z500 measures 8.65mm thin and it will run on Android 4.4 KitKat as the mobile operating system of choice.
