Darth Vader PS4 Controller Will Now Be Sold By Itself

Back in September Sony took the wraps off a very sleek Star Wars themed PlayStation 4. If you’re a fan of the Star Wars franchise and were looking to get a new console, this seemed like a win-win situation. However for gamers who already have a PS4, we’re sure you guys were bummed when Sony confirmed that they would not be selling the Darth Vader controllers separately.

However it looks like Sony has decided to have a change of heart. In a post on Twitter, Sony’s PlayStation Europe account confirmed that the controller will be sold standalone. This means that if you already own a PS4 but want a Darth Vader themed controller, or maybe you just want more Darth Vader controllers for your Star Wars PS4, you can buy them as it is.

Sony notes that availability of the controllers will kick off from the 18th of November. That being said given that this was tweeted by the Europe account, so if you’re in the US and you’re wondering about its availability, Sony’s US PlayStation Twitter account revealed that those living in the US can get their hands on it earlier.

It will be priced at $65 and it is currently available for pre-order via Walmart’s online website and is expected to begin shipping out to customers on the 13th of November, this Friday.
