LeTV Max Pro Could Come With Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor

Those companies that work on smartphone devices and hail from China have more or less caught up in terms of hardware build and quality as opposed to their counterparts in other countries, leaving only the user interface and experience side of things to improve. However, we believe that China-based companies are pretty much in the same place where LG and Samsung were many years ago when they first made forays into the world of mobile phones that were then dominated by Nokia and Motorola. Having said that, LeTV, a company that has revealed its fair share of smartphones in the past, is back with a high-end model known as the LeTV Max Pro.

The LeTV Max Pro smartphone was seen on an AnTuTu benchmark earlier this month, where it is said to come with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor in addition to iris recognition capability, at least according to new report released from China. The benchmark listing points to a Snapdragon 820 chipset running the show underneath the hood, aided by a 5.5” (2560×1440 pixel resolution) display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory, in addition to a 21MP/4MP camera with Android 6.0 Marshmallow as the mobile operating system of choice. Expect it to be formally announced at CES 216 next year.
