It has been confirmed today that the second DLC from the Air, Land and Sea Expansion Pack is going to be released in the coming month. The new Just Cause 3 DLC is called Mech Land Assault and it will pit players against giant mechs. The DLC will be on sale for Expansion Pass Holders starting June 3rd with a wider release set to follow on June 10th.

Protagonist Rico Rodriguez makes his way to the new island of Lacrima in Mech Land Assault. This island houses the abandoned eDen research base and a prison camp run by the mysterious Black Hand, and it’s defended by giant, powerful mechs.

Rodriguez needs the new Bavarium Power Core rifle to disable the mechs’ shields and hijack them. Once he is inside, he can use the mechs’ powerful cannons and the GRIP Gravity Guns to completely destroy the enemy.

Players will also be able to call on a Rebel Mech buddy for extra firepower when the situation demands it. They will be able to jump and smash helicopters from the sky or obliterate tanks using the GRIPS’s Force Pulse attack.

Just Cause 3 Mech Land Assault DLC is priced at $11.99, it’s part of the $24.99 Air, Land and Sea Expansion Pass. The third and final DLC, Bavarium Sea Heist, is going to be released by the end of summer 2016.
