2019 Call Of Duty Game Is Seemingly Being Teased

Infinity Ward is the studio responsible for the 2019 Call of Duty game. It hasn’t revealed much information about the title at this point in time but it appears that the senior communications manager at Infinity Ward, Ashton Williams, has seemingly been teasing the game. It’s believed that the 2019 Call of Duty game may not be Ghosts 2.

The last modern-day shooter from Infinity Ward in this franchise was indeed Ghosts. The game didn’t end up performing as well as earlier titles in this franchise due to changes made to the multiplayer experience and some other factors.

Williams has recently been posting images featuring skulls and ghosts recently. Most of them are in black and white. It’s clear that they’re not just images that she’s posting to her personal Twitter account.

Many would believe that the next Call of Duty title that Infinity Ward makes will be called Ghosts 2 but according to reports, that may not be it. If one believes that these teasers aren’t hinting at a new sub-series, it’s possible that they’re pointing towards Simon “Ghost” Riley, a character that Modern Warfare campaign players will be familiar with.

Since Ghost meets his fate in Modern Warfare 2, there’s a possibility that the 2019 Call of Duty game might be a prequel. This is all just speculation at this time, though.
