Verizon Touch Diamond 2 and HTC Mega details
Photos via wmexperts

Verizon customers will soon have a couple more choices when it comes to Windows Mobile handsets. The Touch Diamond 2 that was shown at WMC will soon come to Verizon in a CDMA form (Whitestone). We liked the work that HTC did on the user interface. They did a good job of hiding Windows Mobile 6.1 as much as possible. The HTC Touch Pro 2 will appear at Sprint on September 3rd.

Secondly, there are now more details on the HTC Mega, including a picture (middle) and some specifications that show a 240×320 display. I hope that this is terribly wrong, because it would suck to have a new touch phone with such a low resolution. Note that the phone is much smaller than the Touch Diamond 2 (don’t trust the photo scale):

  • Windows Mobile 6.5
  • 528Mhz CPU
  • 256MB user memory
  • 2.8″ 320×240 display, 3MP Camera
  • 3.5G
  • GPS
