Atlona AT-PCLink Wireless USB KVM switch starts to ship

KVM switches can be useful if you want to maximize the use of a monitor, for example, in your corporation – especially if you’re tight on budget, letting a couple of computers share a single monitor at any one time. Well, the Atlona AT-PCLink Wireless USB KVM switch will be able to set things in the way you want it sans wires, as it plays nice with both Mac and PC platforms by sending DVI, USB and stereo audio signals up to 30 feet away thanks to the Ultra Wide Band (UWB) standard. All you need to do is plug in the switch and place your peripherals such as keyboards and mice away from your TVs, displays and computers, and you’re good to go. Boasting a maximum resolution of 1,440 x 1,050, this plug-and-play device requires no pesky software installation to get you started, boasting a connection speed which is touted to be fast enough to stream videos and surf the Web. Expect the Atlona AT-PCLink Wireless USB KVM switch to retail for $169 each.
