Nokia offering free E7 and Nokia WP7 phones to developers

If you’re a Windows Phone 7 developer, then this piece of news might just have you sitting on the edge of your seat – we’re talking about Nokia giving out (for free, yo!) the E7 and Nokia WP7 handsets, which cost around $1,000 – now how about that? The latter, of course, will be given out when it is available, so do keep your fingers crossed in the mean time. Not only that, Nokia intends to add some sweeteners to the whole shebang by offering free access to the next Nokia World/Nokia Developer Summit, three months of free tech support for all Nokia technologies (limited to 10 tickets), a free User Experience evaluation for one app, business development assistance, and help publishing apps on the Ovi store. Hopefully through this, we will see a leaked image of a Nokia WP7 phone – and soon.
