Recently we had a report about some Staples’ training materials showing off some upcoming tablets that will be launched this year, and now the folks over at pre-central have gotten their hands on another similar list, this time with dates and prices of the device. Judging from the prices listed, it looks like manufacturers are all headed towards pricing their tablets as the entry-level iPad 2 which seems to be a questionable move – if a tablet is similarly priced as the iPad 2, and the iPad 2 is reputed for its huge library of apps while the other tablets aren’t, are people going to be willing to check them out? I guess we’ll have to wait and see. But June looks like a hot month with 5 10″ tablets (HTC, Dell, Acer, Toshiba, and HP) to be released then. In the meantime, check out our iPad 2 review to see whether it’s the tablet for you or if you will be waiting it out the next few months for another tablet.
