Upcoming HP, Dell, HTC, Acer and Toshiba tablets prices and dates leaked

Recently we had a report about some Staples’ training materials showing off some upcoming tablets that will be launched this year, and now the folks over at pre-central have gotten their hands on another similar list, this time with dates and prices of the device. Judging from the prices listed, it looks like manufacturers are all headed towards pricing their tablets as the entry-level iPad 2 which seems to be a questionable move – if a tablet is similarly priced as the iPad 2, and the iPad 2 is reputed for its huge library of apps while the other tablets aren’t, are people going to be willing to check them out? I guess we’ll have to wait and see. But June looks like a hot month with 5 10″ tablets (HTC, Dell, Acer, Toshiba, and HP) to be released then. Android: Android is the mobile operating system from Google. The software was originally built by a company called Android Inc, that was purchased by Google in 2005. From its modest debuts, Android has become a powerhouse that powers not only smartphones and tablet, but a host of other less high-profile devices and gadgets. Dell: Dell Inc. is one of largest technology corporations in the world. Michael Dell started the company in 1984, and it sold computers built from stock components. Previously named PCs Limited, the company created the "Turbo PC," the company's first computer. In 1988, the company changed its name to Dell Computer Corporation. Dell sells personal computers, servers, data storage devices, network switches, software, and computer peripherals. Dell acquired computer hardware company Alienware in 2006, and Perot Systems, an information technology services provider, in 2009. Dell is also considered as the third largest PC vendors in the world, next to HP and Lenovo (as of 12/30/2013).

HP: Hewlett-Packard Company, commonly known as HP, is an American information technology corporation based in Palo Alto, California. From its humble beginnings as a company built by William Redington Hewlett and Dave Packard in a one-car garage during the year 1939, HP is now one of the world's leading PC manufacturers and is recognized as a legendary institution in Silicon Valley. The company's first product was an audio oscillator. Today, HP provides products, technologies, software solutions, and services to individual consumers, small and medium businesses, and large enterprises. HTC: High Tech Computer Corporation (HTC) is a Taiwanese manufacturer of smartphones and tablets. The company started as an ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) that was building devices for others, but went on making HTC-branded smartphones based mostly on Microsoft's Windows operating system (OS) for mobile. In 2009, it began to shift its core focus away from Windows mobile devices to Android-based ones. In 2010 the company went back to the Windows Phone eco-system.
