Yahoo engineers have finally managed to work out the kinks involved with IMAP mail on both the iPhone as well as Windows Phone 7 devices (said issues include sending an abundance of information in replies to requests from the phone compared to what is necessary), which really spooked those who are not subscribing to an unlimited data plan. Nice to know that Yahoo has already updated its IMAP servers to fix said issue, which means kilobytes of data are no longer traveling about aimlessly and without purpose. For folks who do not use Yahoo on their mobile devices, this is no biggie.
