Apple rumored to have hired ex Nintendo and Activision PR staff

It looks like Apple is really going full steam ahead with plans to dominate the mobile gaming market. As if letting developers sell high-quality games at budget prices on the App Store wasn’t enough to undercut the competition, Apple might be getting more involved in creating their own gaming content as well. According to some rumors, Apple has recently created a new position of PR for gaming content on the iOS and to fill the shoes of the position is Nintendo UK’s former head of PR – Rob Saunders. Joining him is Nick Grange, PR director for Activision Europe and who’s also worked for Electronic Arts and Microsoft previously. Grange will be focused on the hardware side of things instead of gaming content. If the rumors are true, then we’re going to see Apple a lot more involved in iOS gaming in the future.
