Anyone out there suffering from arachnophobia? Well, if that is the case, perhaps you might want to make sure that your fears are soothed in a manageable manner – by getting a spider of your own, albeit a robotic one to begin with. This model is made by Konod, a Japanese robotics company that boasts half a dozen legs which are able to move independently. Wait a minute here, aren’t spiders supposed to come with eight legs and not six? Well, we just hope that there is a good reason to get this if it ever hits the mass market, and it ought to come with a justifiable price tag to boot. How much are you willing to pay for something like this? On the bright side, at least you need not feed it insects and such yucky pests for food, and can even take a long holiday without worrying about feeding this puppy.
