HiSense WHDI: wireless HDMI

In today’s world of modern technology, we’re beginning to see cables being used less and less. The latest one to make the transition to being wireless is HD content. HiSense have come up with a range of new WHDI (Wireless Home Digital Interface) accessories that enable devices such as notebooks, tablets, and iPhones to transfer HD content to a HDTV wirelessly. All users have to do is plug the transmitter into the source, and plug the received into the HDTV. Whatever is on the screen of the HD source will be mirrored on the TV screen. From Crysis 2 on your laptop to Angry Birds or Cut The Rope on your iPhone – whatever you see on the source will be shown on the screen. Supporting up to 1080p/60Hz resolution and 3D content, you can be sure that you’ll see everything in maximum detail and with a latency of less than 1ms means you’ll have no trouble playing games either. No word on pricing or availability for these accessories yet, but stay tuned.
