Most of us would think that a Nerf ball is just that, being made up of some sort of sponge, but check out just what an enterprising brain can result in – this Nerf ball will come with a 9-axis inertial sensing motion processor and Bluetooth connectivity, where it will play nice with an app that is powered by what is dubbed the Replay Football system. To put it plainly, it will track a modified Nerf ball in-flight while reporting to the handset user all relevant information over a Bluetooth connection – of course, this means one is limited by Bluetooth’s 10 meter range, but to see your Nerf ball transformed into something that’s totally different from what you’re used to is definitely worth a look.
